"Are Tomorrow's Guitar Heroes Playing 'Guitar Hero'?"
Summery: The article talks about about how people what real life guitarists and bassists think about the "guitar hero" game. Like the bassist called Larry Spears, talks about how his son, with the money he got from his 10th birthday, went and bought "guitar hero III." His son owned a guitar that his dad made for him, and he seemed to enjoy to play it on his in front of his bedroom mirror. Spears comments, "If you want to play guitar, go pick up a guitar. You don't need a video game for that." But as he sees his son playing the game he notices that the game teaches him about some things of music like tempo, meter, how the guitar works inside of a song, the little skip beats—the "and two" kinds of beats.
Analysis: This article is an example of how the influence of the guitar made some create a virtual game simulating a guitar player. This can be an example of one of the many things that the guitar influenced other than just music entertainment as well as video games.
Reflection Question: What other types of entertainments does the guitar influence.
